Giant Fitness Personal Trainer – Anthony Albanese

ANTHONY ALBANESE | ACE Certified Personal Trainer

What's the biggest fitness mistake people make?

It is ALWAYS Diet! Diet is 80% of the process. You have to control your input to produce the correct output.

In addition to diet, the next biggest focus in a person’s fitness regime should be FBL...Form Before Loading. Form is essential to developing successful results in a person’s fitness routine. It doesn’t matter how much weight a client can lift or press if they are doing it incorrectly and with bad form. Practicing correct form helps to prevent injury and promotes long term success. It is imperative that correct movement and range of motion be the KEY element in the initial process of educating the client and working toward their goals.

2How do you measure results for your clients?
I measure my client’s results by using the MAF 180 Heart rate Formula developed by Dr. Philip Maffetone. A heart-rate monitor can be the most important tool for developing optimal endurance and better fat-burning. This simple device is a valuable tool that not only guides your training but is part of an important assessment process of the client true progress.

What is your favorite quote?

“Objects in motion stay in motion. Objects at rest, stay at rest. An object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force.”

By definition, a personal trainer is that external force that introduces a change, either by helping to motivate their client to take action or by changing up their regular workout routine.
We all need to work with a trainer at some point in our lives. We each have core values in our life. Those values motivate us for healthier choices and a better quality of life. Training correctly releases positive growth hormones that add to our overall happiness. I can help you set the foundations that strengthen your mind-body connection to positively influence your internal view and personal self-esteem.
